Philip Le Grand
Throughout my 30 year career working in IT for several organisations I have produced documentation for many occasions and audiences, including being the Technical Editor of a computer magazine and delivering engaging system, technical, marketing, user and business communications including presentations. These have often incorporated own produced illustrations and photographs to help illustrate the messages being presented.
I enjoy all aspects of the production lifecycle having worked with various stakeholders in organisations as well as print providers. For six and a half years I produced the Bletchley Park Times magazine, taking their publication from a slim line newsletter to a well-read magazine, communicating news, events, progress and historic articles for the readers.
Other key communications I have been involved with are:
- Technical input for two major revisions of the ISACA COBIT framework (versions 4 and 5)
- Presentation of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) experiences to industry peers
- Publications of a paper on controls within the ITIL own publication
- Editing the autobiography of one of the BletchleyPark veteran code breakers
- Writing a series of articles for the US Naval Cryptolog magazine.
